From the 2000s/2010s to present, Disney Channel has used numerous split-screen (or crunch) credits usually at the end of movies. The main purpose is to show promotional advertisements while credits are running.
Normal Templates[]
| Name of Template | Date of Use | Image | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rolling Credits | 2001-2007 | ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
Unlike conventional split screen credits (where one half of the screen would be displayed vertically with half containing the commercial for the upcoming show or event, these would have 2/3 of the credits temporarily obscured by the display that shows the commercial for an upcoming show or the next show while credits would scroll from the bottom to the top of the screen. In some cases, the promo would take up the entire screen when the credits finish rolling and would briefly obscure the program's ending logos. Earliest known usage January 12, 2001. Latest known usage August 25, 2007. |
